Underwood Center for the Arts - Lubbock, TX.
Welcome Newcomers, First Time Users, and Art Lovers!
I am Robert Terrell, fine artist and web designer from Lubbock, Texas. Thanks for visiting robertterrell.com. The site focuses on my artwork, and links to useful and important art content. I hope you will drop by often, and use this website as an art resource.Website Updates
I maintain a somewhat erratic update schedule of the website. This includes several new artist quotes per year. The knowledge base is expanded as new infomation becoms available. And my new artworks or art projects are uploaded as I complete them. Art links are added periodically, as I find new and interesting art sites (or they contact me).Email me with any questions or comments about art in general or about this website. Thanks.
Website Content
I enjoy websites with interesting graphic and language content, so I do my best to provide both on this site, without adding too much to the "information overload" problems inherent with the internet. It is easy to confuse visitors with too much information (especially first time visitors). I will avoid such excesses as much as possible by writing in a way that is interesting to read carefully (hopefully) or scanned quickly if you prefer to catch the general ideas presented and move on.Website Navigation
I appreciate websites that I can navigate easily. To that end, I have kept the navigation as simple and shallow as possible, with a horizontal navigation bar across the top of each page. It is the main navigation menu. The second level of menus is on the right side of the pages that need it.
And to help make menu navigation easier, I put another navigation bar at the bottom of the pages.
On this website, all clickable links are in red. Any red text can be clicked and you will be off on a magic carpet ride of artistic wonder! Well ... off to another webpage full of interesting art at least...
Website Mission and Functions
1. Introduce my artwork to as many art lovers as possible.2. Provide links to other artist's websites.
3. Create an art knowledge base of useful information for artists, art collectors, and anyone interested. Topics thus far include:
framing art - hanging art - lighting art - packing and shipping art - painting surfaces - photographing art - installing vinyl signs
I hope you find much useful content (art to purchase, information, artwork images, links, surfing enjoyment, etc.) while visiting here and will return often. Feel free to leave feedback with suggestions for the art knowledge base.
Thanks for stopping by !
Robert
